WELCOME TO XPROTECT 2022 R1

Welcome to Milestone first XProtect release of 2022. In this release, you will get exciting improvements to your VMS. Milestoneis introducing the Management Server Failover add-on, improving reliability of your VMS. Milestone has made improvements to the user experience adding more flexibility for the users of XProtect. And finally, Milestone is introducing new integrations into XProtect increasing compatibility even more.

Working with XProtect keeps getting easier. This release presents a new enhanced export workflow in the XProtect® Smart Client, extended bookmarking functionality in XProtect® Mobile, and a refresh of the hardware information in the XProtect® Management Client.

XProtect Management Server Failover

XProtect 2022 R1 takes reliability and availability to the next level with a new add-on product: Management Server Failover Solution. This new solution is designed to ensure that your VMS never skips a beat, providing XProtect users with a high-availability cluster with real-time replication and failover.
