The Type 3 & 4 Lift Control Interfaces directly connects to an elevator floor selection panel. The Lift Control Interface outputs activate buttons on the elevator floor selection panel according to the access permissions of the card holder.

The Type 3 LCI is fitted with two output cards (32 outputs), two input cards (32 inputs), and a power supply unit all mounted in an enclosure. The Type 4 LCI is fitted with four output cards (64 outputs) four input cards (64 inputs), and a PSU all mounted in an enclosure.

The DCM 300 I/O features eight analog inputs and four outputs that are used to give spare inputs/outputs on the AC2000 access control system. Each input can be cross mapped to an output. A change of state to an input will cause a specific output. This means, for example an input can be taken from a motion detector and be used to trigger an intruder alarm siren.

The DIU 200 improves door security by allowing the installer to locate lock controls on the secure side of a door with an intelligent CEM reader on the unsecured side. Upon a valid swipe at the card reader, the reader will instruct the DIU to activate the appropriate output to release the lock.

The DIU 210 improves door security by allowing the installer to locate lock controls on the secure side of a door, with an intelligent CEM reader on the unsecured side.

The LCI unit directly connects to a lift floor selection panel. The LCI unit outputs activate buttons on the elevator floor selection panel according to the access permissions of the card holder. The LCI inputs then record which button was pressed.

The Type 2B LCI is fitted with one output card (16 outputs), one input card (16 inputs), and a power supply unit all mounted in an enclosure. The Type 2B LCI links to a DCM 350 board to host an external CEM sPass read head. The external CEM sPass DESFire reader is normally fitted within the elevator cabin adjacent to the floor selection panel.

Using the S9032 Lift Controller, and constituent devices, the CEM AC2000 access control system can provide access control to specific floors within a building.

The card holder enters a lift cab, presents their card to the CEM access control reader, which in conjunction with the S9032 Lift Controller, carries out access checks on the AC2000 database to determine which floors the cardholder is allowed access to. This information enables the floor selection buttons in the cab to operate.

The EIOC features 16 analog inputs and 8 digital outputs. The outputs can be used to control solid-state relays, which in turn can control all kinds of equipment including Intruder panels, PIR detectors, or switching on/off heating and lighting.

Additionally inputs on the EIOC can be used to activate a Broadcast Zone on the AC2000 system which can be configured to activate an output on a different EIOC or CEM reader located anywhere on the network.
