The AgileCore Innovation Day was successfully held on June 28 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Macau. In addition to presentations by several veteran professionals in the fields of innovative technology and security technology, the event showcased the latest technology applications and successful case studies. It also hosted a mini innovation forum, where speakers were invited to discuss the challenges and opportunities of AI application in security and facility operations, moderated by the Executive Director of the Greater Bay Area International Industry Development Promotion Association, Harold Lam.
The venue set up ten exhibition booths to showcase real-world technology applications and solutions in security and operations. This allowed the attendees to directly experience the application potential of the latest technologies in various roles. In the security area, AgileCore technology showcased solutions such as video intelligence analysis, large-scale video management, and control center video wall management, as well as the latest domestic GPU technology. AgileCodec (AgileCore’s Smart Codec) can help mid-to-large CCTV systems save 40-50% on video storage costs. They also exhibited augmented reality (AR) glasses and their applications in security, equipment patrol, and safety training, allowing the attendees to personally experience the power of the latest immersive AR technology.
The AgileCore access control system was also a major highlight of the promotion event, showcasing the large-scale, fully functional Armous system that has already been implemented in Hong Kong and Macau. This series can not only stably manage large-scale systems with thousands of doors, but can also be expanded to support event management for visitor systems and enterprise-level city-scale applications with a three-dimensional model engine.
At the same time, two new product series were also launched at the promotion event: Ownsa – a server-less access control system series. A professional-grade wireless door lock series, overcoming the previous limitations of wireless locks not being able to be managed online.
One of the ecosystem partners, “Mallshow”, demonstrated an indoor and outdoor navigation system based on pure visual technology. This can provide simple, easy-to-use, and intuitive navigation experiences for visitors to exhibitions, shopping malls, and various smart parks. This new technology utilises AI to improve upon previous hardware-centric systems, not only enhancing the functionality of the navigation system, b5ut also significantly reducing the costs of similar systems. Moreover, with visual technology as its core, this solution also opens up more possibilities for AR-based customer experience enhancements for shopping malls and exhibitions.
The AgileCore Energy division also exhibited their full line of “Power Management and Electricity Safety Enhancement Solutions”. They showcased two products, including their self-developed electricity leakage suppression system. In the event of a leakage, this system can not only enhance personnel safety beyond basic measures, but also maintain equipment operation. The second product is a microsecond-level solid-state circuit breaker. Compared to the traditional millisecond-level mechanical circuit breakers, this new product increases the circuit breaking speed by a thousandfold during overcurrent events, thereby reducing the risk of fire and personal injury. This new technology is particularly important in outdoor, industrial, and DC power scenarios, especially for EV charging stations and solar power applications.
Another ecosystem partner, “Next Human”, demonstrated their AI digital employee solution. They not only showcased the bilingual and trilingual capabilities of the digital employees, but also allowed guests to experience their applications in different scenarios, such as general front-desk environments, robotic integration, and embedded user interfaces, demonstrating their potential to improve daily operational efficiency.
The world-leading brand “Uniview” exhibited their full line of edge video analysis algorithms. These technologies greatly enhance video intelligence analysis and their applications in different scenarios, while also reducing the costs of such applications. As one of China’s top three video surveillance equipment brands, Uniview provided detailed introductions to their full range of cameras, recorders, and management solutions for the on-site guests.
The third exhibitor, ecosystem partner “QMap”, is a company focused on the development of 3D SCADA GIS engine applications. As an industry-leading technology company, they possess a world-leading lightweight, city-scale, and fully domestically-produced 3D engine. They demonstrated numerous recent applications of 3D BIM digital twins in cities, parks, and buildings. Their 3D data management, 3D AI data analytics, and various 3D visualization technologies were vividly showcased.
The AgileCore team also presented their integrated management platform that combines video management systems, access control systems, 3D models, and IoT technologies (such as the full line of HVAC and lighting control devices based on AllGo technology). This management platform is based on a data-centric and AI-assisted management concept. They demonstrated several core management function modules, such as visitor management, patrol management, virtual patrols, robot management, and event management. They also showcased the integration of specialised equipment, such as a document scanner capable of identifying passport authenticity.
Finally, the AgileCore team exhibited two patrol robots – an indoor mobile robot and an outdoor waterproof robot. These patrol robots can not only perform security patrol tasks, but also facility management patrols. Their vision can be combined with video analysis to automate many patrol tasks, automatically recording normal situations and raising alarms for abnormal conditions. The latest patrol robots can even detect human falls, abnormal temperatures, smoke or fire, and even water logging. They also showcased a larger outdoor robot with special wheels that can turn in place, allowing for flexible movement in tight spaces. During the two open visitor sessions, the ten exhibition units were crowded, with many guests actively asking questions and hands-on experiencing the latest technologies, such as AR glasses, digital human interactions, and electricity leakage suppression.
Ten technology booths were exhibited on that day with live demonstrations, guests gathered during the two opening hours, interacted and experienced AgileCore AI solutions, such as AR glasses, digital staff-to-human interactions, leakage suppression, technologies, etc.
